The Females of SpiritHill

CH Trutails Syrah Of SpiritHill

Syrah was bred by Dennis and Trudie Allen of Trutails and is out of Dragonmaine and Trutails lines. I appreciate the Allen's for letting me purchase this wonderful cat.

Syrah is a brown classic tabby with white. She is a warm brown tabby, with her brown almost looking red. She is a stunning and big girl. Syrah is the Top Queen in the SpiritHill cat household, but rules with her looks, not her paws. She is always willing to help care for a litter of kittens. If another mother is having any difficulty with her kittens, Syrah will gladly help out, and she is the best kitten litterbox-trainer in the house.

Once Syrah became interested in male cats and mothering, she did not appreciate the fine art of showing herself off at a Cat Show, so she is retired from that scene and stays home where she is happy.

Syrah attained the title of Champion in both CFA and TICA, and she was a TICA Regional Winner for the show season 2005.

CH Ele'Cats Candy Kisses of SpiritHill

Candy was bred by Pat Hughey of Ele'Cats and has good, traditional lines behind her. I thank Pat for trusting me with one of her cats and she is a welcome addition to the SpiritHill breeding program.

Candy Kisses is a brown classic tabby without white. She is a big girl with good pattern and boning. So far Candy has had big litters and takes care of every kitten, keeping them fed, clean, and healthy.

Candy is probably the most temperamental of the SpiritHill females. She likes things peaceful and not hectic, and loves to curl up on a lap or bed.

Candy Kisses attained the title of Champion in CFA. She was not shown in TICA.

Coonopry CandleWind of SpiritHill

Coonopry CandleWind of SpiritHill was bred by Sheila Haskins of Coonopry. I am grateful to Sheila for letting me have Windy, especially since she is an outcross for my breeding program.

Windy is a silver patched tabby with high white. She has a long body, a great muzzle, and the longest whiskers I have seen on a cat. Windy also brings the silver gene to SpiritHill and I am excited to see what beautiful kittens we can produce with that.

Although Windy is the newest addition to the breeding females at SpiritHill, she holds her own and does not back down, especially with the dogs. She finds them an annoying part of her life now and doesn't quite understand why I would want to have dogs in the first place!
